Finished the first Takeshi Kovacs novel Altered Carbon this morning.
I must say, it was interesting and entertaining. I'll probably give it another listen a few months after I finish the other two.
It's not often that a sci-fi novel actually makes me think about things.
For instance: It made me wonder how our actual society would (d?)evolve if death had very little actual meaning. Seriously. Make a digital copy of the person with the ability to download that into a different body? The possibilities for good or ill are endless.
Anyway, food for thought is all.
